AzireVPN Review 2022
AzireVPN is a Swedish online privacy service available at a relatively expensive €3.25/month price. It only offers 24 servers in 6 countries that do not unblock US Netflix but assist torrenting. The service has received a 3.0-star rating overall.
AzireVPN is a brainchild of Netbouncer AB, a firm that works under Swedish laws. The main reason behind the creation of AzireVPN was to assist users to bypass censorship over the internet.
This AzireVPN review highlighted that the service has relatively expensive pricing plans for its users. Ironically, the service does not deliver a huge server spread as compared to other VPNs like ExpressVPN or Surfshark.
However, it offers an impressive free trial benefit that allows you to check the performance of the VPN thoroughly. That said the service has different cons like incomplete support and Netflix incompatibility.
Therefore, I do not recommend this Swedish VPN service to netizens from all around the world. Therefore, we highly recommend reading our blog to learn more about these best VPNs.

AzireVPN has an expensive pricing strategy for its users.
Luckily, you may choose from four types of pricing plans.
These packages are monthly, quarterly, yearly, and two-yearly too:
- You have to pay €5.00 for a monthly plan
- Quarterly €4.00 (3 months)
- Yearly €3.75 (12 months)
- Two years €3.25 (24 months)
Note: All the prices on the website are mentioned in Euros, kindly calculate the above pricing according to US dollar.

Security – Protocols & Encryption
On the privacy front, the Swedish brand offers two types of tunneling protocols. These are OpenVPN, WireGuard. Interestingly, OpenVPN uses 256-bit military-grade encryption by default.
The provider delivers another tunneling protocol by the name of SOCKS5. With this protocol, it becomes quite easy to exchange network packets between a client and a server.
Overall, AzireVPN secures its users’ information in the right way through its advanced level of encryption along with desired tunneling protocols.
Jurisdiction – Where is AzireVPN located?
Unfortunately, the service mainly operates from Sweden, a part of the 14 eyes alliance. Therefore, the brand has to comply with the country’s privacy laws in true letter and spirit.
Surprisingly, five eyes, nine eyes, and 14 eyes countries are bound to share their users’ data with each other as and when required.
At present, the provider is catering to the online security needs of its users through 63 servers in 19 locations internationally.
AzireVPN has to improve in this particular area drastically. It does not make sense if you are unable to expand your servers’ network even after 7 years of existence.
Moreover, the brand does not specify if it is offering virtual server locations or not. Thus, you have to understand the basic differences between the two major types of VPN servers i.e. physical and virtual.
In order to comprehend the said differences, refer to our VPN server locations guide.
Speed – Above Average
In terms of speed, AzireVPN delivers above-average connection speeds. I used a 25 Mbps internet connection before connecting to its US Miami server. After connecting to VPN, I received the following outcome:
As you can see, there is a decline of 49% in speed overall.
Streaming – Does it assist Netflix & Torrenting both?
Interestingly, AzireVPN is one of the fewest VPNs that unblock the UK Netflix media library instantly. Hence, you may watch all your favorite TV shows or movies from anywhere hassle-free.
In addition, you can accomplish your media streaming cravings by downloading your preferred torrents. That said, the provider is a Sweden-based VPN brand. Therefore, you should use AzireVPN for torrenting purposes at your own risk.
Leaks – IP, DNS & WebRTC Leak Tests
The Swedish VPN service does not expose your actual whereabouts online. Here are the screenshots:
I tested its Windows app file through VirusTotal and found no virus at all.
Trustworthiness – Logging Policy & Customer Support
What makes AzireVPN different from other VPNs is its impressive data logging policy. Interestingly, the VPN has categorically stated its logging practices on its website.
However, they do log some sort of information through cookies like payment identifier numbers. Likewise, when you contact them using customer support, they have to store your email address along with the content of your message.
Interestingly, you can discover numerous VPN logging policies through our detailed guide.
AzireVPN solves its users’ queries in a different way. You can approach them by sending an email at [email protected]. Apart from this, it offers the following options:
- Social Media (Facebook, Twitter & Reddit )
Compatibility – How much supportive AzireVPN is?
In terms of compatibility, AzireVPN has outscored its competitors by some fine distance. You can contemplate such operating systems in the shape of Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.
In addition, it supports some routers as well. The whole process of installation is simple and does not need any rocket science.

Do I Recommend AzireVPN?
No, I do not recommend AzireVPN.
On the contrary, I found its various features like logging policy, compatibility, pricing, and online payment options quite handy and equal to the task.
I tested its different privacy benefits like IP, DNS, and WebRTC leak protection. Fortunately, I did not encounter any such leaks during the testing phase. Similarly, it can unblock US Netflix in no time.
However, it does not have an impressive server network like other VPNs. Their jurisdiction is also not conducive for netizens as well. Therefore, on the basis of the above analysis, I would give AzireVPN a 3.0/5.0 rating in the end.
