Valar Morghulis! The words echoed as Game of Thrones: Season 4 commenced on HBO this April. The interpretation of the words aforementioned is: All Men Must Die.

From this, anyone could have guessed what Game of Thrones has to bring this season – more wars and obviously more bloodshed. And how can we forget Purple Wedding – the most awaited event of Game of Thrones: Season 4.

There were countless predictions and diverse expectations associated with the new season of Game of Thrones; but, what happened last night – nobody saw it coming.

The King is dead! Yes! It was indeed a moment of celebration for all Joffrey haters out there. Purple Wedding was spoiled and turned out to be a funeral for Joffrey Baratheon.

Joffrey Baratheon is one of the most hated persons over the Internet; but, most importantly, he is the most hated person in Westoros. Nothing can make us forget the tears brought in our eyes by the Red Wedding. But, the tears of joy after seeing Joffrey choke to death – can ease the pain a bit.

 

Joffrey Baratheon is dead – poisoned by mysterious hero of entire digital universe. This however was a great shocker as no one saw this coming. For a moment, I felt sorry for Joffrey when he was choking in arms of Cersei Lannister. But then, a spontaneous recall shook my mind – reminding me of his decisions and incidents accompanying his commands along with the aftereffects. Why I hate him so much? Perhaps, you haven’t watched Games of Thrones; because, if you had, you could easily write an entire tutorial on reasons to hate Joffrey Baratheon.

 

Purple Faced Joffrey

Purple Wedding was indeed the most awaited event for all Game of Thrones fans. Not only the fans; but, celebrities attended the Wedding in Westeros as well – digitally speaking.

For those who watched Game of Thrones last night – it was the best Sunday – EVER. Those unfortunate souls that missed it, Monday morning couldn’t have been more frustrating for them. All social networks were flooded with spoilers which ruined the moment for those who couldn’t make it to the Purple Wedding. People even started to relate Purple Wedding with the color of Joffrey’s face while he was choking. At Red Wedding, three Starks were killed. To Joffrey, I just want to say this: karma is a bi*ch!

With Joffrey gone, who would take over Iron Throne. Would he finally bring peace or cause more chaos than the preceding king. In the end, I leave you all with this: one does not simply get married in Westeros.
