San Francisco, USA – In a strategic move to expand its digital footprint, Anthropic, the Google and Amazon-backed AI start-up, announced the rollout of its latest Claude AI chatbot model across Europe. The launch, scheduled for Tuesday, will introduce European users to Claude’s capabilities, not just on the web but also on personal iPhone devices, as evident from the Twitter post below:

Millions of people worldwide are already using Claude to do things like accelerate scientific processes, enhance customer service, or refine their writing,” said Dario Amodei, CEO and co-founder of Anthropic. He expressed his enthusiasm about the potential impacts of the deployment across Europe, “I look forward to seeing what people and businesses across Europe create with Claude.

The announcement comes on the heels of a significant unveiling by tech rival OpenAI, backed by Microsoft, which recently introduced its most advanced chatbot model, the GPT-4o, known for its human-like conversational abilities that can also be accessed through the best VPNs.

In March, Anthropic claimed that its next-generation Claude 3 model family outperformed major competitors such as OpenAI’s GPT-4 and Google’s Gemini 1.0 Ultra in various benchmark exams. Amodei touted the superiority of their product, stating, “The Claude 3 AI family is the Rolls-Royce of models, at least at this point in time.”

The launch also includes a new Claude iOS app, available for free to all users, and a “Claude Team” plan targeted at business users, priced at approximately €28 per user per month. Describing the capabilities of Claude 3, Anthropic highlights its first “multimodal” AI suite that responds to text and images, a feature mirroring the functionality of its rival, GPT-4.

Anthropic, founded in 2021 by siblings Dario and Daniela Amodei, former executives at OpenAI, is positioned to leverage its innovations through Amazon and Google cloud platforms, expecting to reach users in 159 countries.
