2. Go to Router, select your router from the list, and then click Download Firmware. Use an Ethernet cable to connect your router to your PC. Remember to use the blue port instead of the yellow port. Use USB-C to connect to the Ethernet adapter if you’re using a Mac.

Don’t follow steps 3 and 4 if you’ve already configured your router.

3. You should be connected to the internet. Visit this page to check the boxes that say: I have read… and I want to contribute…. After this, select Manual Configuration. A notification saying “Internet Connection is down” will appear on your screen after the page loads. Click Login.

4. Type Admin while signing in and click Sign In.

5. Click Choose File after clicking connectivity on the Smart wi-fi screen.

The hosted network mode has been set to allow.

The SSID of the hosted network has been successfully changed.

The user key passphrase of the hosted network has been successfully changed.

5. Copy this message netsh wlan start hostednetwork and paste it into your virtual router. Click Enter after this. Once your virtual router starts, you will see a message saying The hosted network started.

6. Visit Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Hotspot to share your VPN through your Mobile Hotspot.


7. Choose Network & Internet in Settings and go to Change Adapter Options. Choose ExpressVPN Tap Adapter and press Properties.


8. Go to the Sharing window. Tick the box beside Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection. Select the hotspot you created and click OK.

Windows 10 users can skip the rest of the steps and jump straight to step 13.

9. Click Windows Logo Key + R or the Start button to open the run prompt and share your virtual router. Type ncpa.cpl and click OK.

10. Your new wi-fi connection must be visible in the Network connection window, displaying the SSID name you assigned to it.

11. Right-click on the connection that says ExpressVPN Tap Adapter and press Properties.

12. Go to Sharing and select the option next to it to Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection. Select your virtual router under Home Networking Connection in the menu. Click OK.

13. Once you’re done, launch the ExpressVPN app and connect to a server via the OpenVPN protocol. Connect it to your LG TV, and you’re done.
