The X-files is coming back to your TV screens, and the whole gang is back! If you are a 90s kid and used to love the feeling of goose bumps running down your back when Scully and Mulder would solve those amazing cases, then hold on to your hats because Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are on board to film a mini-series of 6 episodes.
In those days, X-Files was the longest-running consecutive science fiction series to ever air on US television. The X-Files originally aired a total of 202 episodes across 9 seasons, from 1993 to 2002. The 10th season is coming out as an unexpected gift for all the X-Files fans who loved the series back in the day.
Also, fans of the original series will remember that the 9th season was a bit of a disappointment because of David Duchovny’s decreased involvement in the show. I could go on for hours and hours and I would still come back to the same point: This is going to be epic.

Both super stars are super busy but loved the thought of coming back to the screen as the mystery solving duo that chooses to give margin to the unimaginable in their investigations. Fox TV has the production rights and filming is going to take place this summer.
The grapevine says that that Fox is working hard to bring back as many former series regulars as possible, and there is a chance that the big shots in Fox are trying hard to revive the series.
