Pricing – How Much Does VPNTraffic Cost?

VPNTraffic offers five different kinds of pricing plans to its subscribers with the lowest package starting from US$1.99. Likewise, it has included one of the safest and most anonymous payment options, Bitcoin, in its armory. We liked other aspects of VPNTraffic, which we will elaborate on in this section thoroughly.

Plan Price Duration
Monthly US$5.00 30 days
3 Months US$10.00 90 days
Yearly US$35.00 365 days
3 Days US$1.99 3 days
6 Months US$18.00 180 days

This VPNTraffic review unveils that subscribers can purchase five types of pricing packages straightaway. You can contemplate these packages such as three days, monthly, quarterly, yearly, and two years as well.

After paying US$1.99, you may evaluate the reputation of the brand systematically. If you want to secure your online privacy for a month, you need to pay US$5.00.

Similarly, you will need to pay US$10.00 to avail quarterly pricing plan. In case you want to buy their 6-monthly or yearly packages, all you have to do is pay US$18.00 and US$35.00 respectively.

Payment Methods

Conversely, VPNTraffic does not provide an expanded list of multiple payment options to users. Still, these payment options are enough when it comes to paying all kinds of dues securely.

Here is the list of different payment options that include:

  • PayPal
  • Credit Card (Powered by Stripe)
  • Bitcoin, BCH, LTC, and ETH

Money-Back Guarantee / Refund Policy

This VPNTraffic review discloses that users may find it difficult to get information about refund policies or money-back guarantees. We hope that the brand will provide all the details about its money-back guarantee or refund policy on its sites categorically.

Free Trial

According to VPNTraffic review, VPNTraffic provides a paid trial feature to its users. You can avail of such a facility after paying US$1.99 once.

This way, you can check the service’s performance for three (3) days without any hassle.

VPNTraffic – Servers and Locations

At present, the US-based online security provider is delivering its services in all the world’s major countries through 60+ servers. We expect VPNTraffic to surely raise its bar in the server’s network to grab potential users’ attention shortly.

Here are a few countries where VPNTraffic operates:

  • US
  • UK
  • China
  • Portugal
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Australia and many more!
Servers-Review-VPNTraffic

VPNTraffic offers servers in countries all over the globe.

Security Protocols and Encryption

VPNTraffic will have to work quite hard to add an industry-standard tunneling protocol OpenVPN. The brand has different sorts of protocols such as PPTP, IKEv2, and L2TP/IPsec.

We were expecting to see SSTP and other tunneling protocols, but sadly, it was not the case. In the case of encryption, we did try our level best to find some information about encryption.

However, we could not get success in achieving my objective.

Logging & Privacy Policy

As we already mentioned, the service mainly operates from the US jurisdiction. Therefore, the parent company has to abide by US data retention laws. When you explore their official site in detail, you would be surprised to know that VPNTraffic has not explained its logging and privacy policy.

Without reading the logging and privacy policy, you cannot judge the intentions of any VPN service. The provider should clearly mention its data collection procedure and its implications on its official site as soon as possible. This way, they can obtain the trust of their existing and potential users appropriately.

You may also refer to VPN logging policies to learn more about user logs and VPN providers.

The multi-login feature is not available

VPNtraffic should have offered a multi-login feature, but users can only protect one device at a time. The service must allow users to secure their multiple devices simultaneously. Otherwise, they may face issues while increasing their existing customer base as per our VPNTraffic review.

IP Leak & DNS Leak Tests

Unfortunately, VPNTraffic may leak your actual IP addresses. When we tried to connect to its US server, it connected us to its French server.

IP-Leak-VPNTraffic

VPNTraffic passed our IP leak test successfully.

We anticipated the same scenario while conducting a DNS leak test.

DNS-Leak-VPNTraffic

VPNTraffic didn’t leak our IP during the DNS leak test.

Jurisdiction

VPNTraffic is based in the US which is not an ideal location for a VPN provider to operate from as mentioned earlier. Since the United States is a part of the 5 Eyes Alliance, VPNTraffic may log user data despite stating on its website otherwise. Thus, we don’t find this VPN reliable.

VPNTraffic – Speed and Performance

In terms of speed, we received average connection speeds from the VPNTraffic France server. Not to forget that we tried to connect to its US server, but were connected to the French server instead which we found sort of bizarre.

We received a download speed of 10.27 Mbps and an upload speed of 19.04 Mbps. As a result, it took us longer to upload content rather than stream or download content. Here is the screenshot of our speed test given below:

Speed-Test-VPNTraffic

VPNTraffic speeds were a bit disappointing.

Note: We used a 30 Mbps internet connection for conducting a speed test.

VPNTraffic – Streaming

VPNTraffic is not the right option for accessing streaming sites as per our personal experience. We tried unblocking multiple streaming services but in vain. We weren’t able to bypass the geo-restrictions on most platforms.

As a result, we reached the conclusion that this VPN is incapable of bypassing geo-restrictions with ease on streaming platforms. You will have to search for other VPNs to attain your mission on your own terms. Like looking up the best VPNs for streaming and such.

Netflix Support

As stated previously, according to our research, VPNTraffic didn’t work with Netflix so we don’t recommend it. If you are looking for seamless Netflix streaming experience the you should go for best Netflix VPNs like ExpressVPN or Surfshark for Android or Windows and access your favorite content.

Is it recommended for Torrenting?

Yes, VPNTraffic is recommended for torrenting. The service allows you to fulfill your streaming desires to a new plane. You can download any torrent file of your choice and watch your favorite media stuff stress-free.

vpntraffic-torrenting

But, users should bear in mind that the headquarter of VPNTraffic is based in the US. Hence, you should avoid downloading copyrighted material at any cost. Otherwise, you may become a victim of copyright trolls and DMCA notices.

Compatibility – Apps and Supported Devices

VPNTraffic is compatible with all the famous operating systems such as Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. Surprisingly, you can download and install the brand to accomplish your gaming craving as it has impressive gaming consoles.

It also allows you to secure your desired device as you can set up VPNTraffic on your router. Here’s a list of supported devices:

  • Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Mobile
  • Mac OS: Tiger, Leopard, Snow Leopard
  • iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch
  • Symbian
  • Android

Installing Apps and Ease of Use

Unfortunately, over time VPNTraffic has become one of those apps that are outdated. Apart from offering a setup for Windows 8, there are no updated versions available. The same goes for other operating systems.

vpn-traffic-installation-guides

VPN Traffic website also offers video tutorials but their YouTube channel has been terminated so the videos are of no help any longer.

vpntraffic-setup-tutorial-error

None of the tutorial videos worked for us.

According to our experience, while conducting the VPNTraffic review, we weren’t able to download the app on our Windows or Mac systems. We didn’t succeed in downloading the app on an Android phone either since we couldn’t even find the VPNTraffic app on Google Play Store. There is a high chance the VPN may have gone out of service.

VPNTraffic – Bypass Censorship

Surprisingly, this VPN is capable of bypassing censorship in countries with restrictive laws. It offers servers in Saudi Arabia, China, and multiple other countries.

Does VPNTraffic work?

Yes, VPNTraffic works as per its website’s claims. You should be able to access censored websites without letting your ISP get the gist of it. According to its FAQ page, VPNTraffic can help you unblock all websites.

Does VPNTraffic work in Kuwait?

Yes, VPNTraffic works in Kuwait as per its website’s claims. Despite using ISPs like Gulf Net or Globalnet, using VPNTraffic you can unblock any website you want.

We did manage to bypass censorships in both of these countries, however, the speeds were too disappointing. We weren’t able to do much like browsing or streaming. So you’re better off with other VPNs.

VPNTraffic Customer Support

During my VPNTraffic review, we explored the provider’s dedicated sections in the shape of Contact Us, Setup Guides, and FAQs. Through FAQs, you can get quick answers that relate to general troubleshooting and other issues. On the other hand, VPNTraffic does not have a live chat feature.

When you want a detailed answer to your questions, you can send an email to VPNTraffic.com@gmail.com. Thus, you can get the answer to all your related queries through email promptly. Sadly, the provider does not have its official email address which shows they have to do a lot of work to become a customer-centric service in the coming years.

VPNTraffic customer support is only available through email.

Alternatives to VPNTraffic

To use a VPN service other than VPNTraffic, explore our list which consists of:

FAQs – VPNTraffic Review

No, you cannot use VPNTraffic to access Netflix. One of the prominent reasons is the inability of VPNTraffic to bypass Netflix’s anti-VPN software. You can look for the best streaming VPNs to help you watch your favorite content regardless of where you are or where you travel and bypass geo-restrictions in one go.

VPNTraffic is based in the United States and as mentioned previously, it’s not an ideal location for a VPN to operate from. Despite claiming that it doesn’t keep logs, the VPN has been audited which makes it reasonable for you to have doubts about the service. Instead, you can explore other reliable VPN options like ExpressVPN.

No, VPNTraffic is not really safe to use. It lacks on the security front since it operates from a Five Eyes Alliance member, the United States of America. Although VPNTraffic’s privacy policy may state it doesn’t keep logs, we can’t bring ourselves to trust its services.
Instead, you can opt for a premium VPN like ExpressVPN for all your VPN needs.

Do we Recommend VPNTraffic?

No, we don’t recommend VPNTraffic. To cut a long story short, the brand exists in five-eye countries, not a good sign for its users.

They have existed in all the world’s crucial countries as they are delivering their services through 60+ servers globally. On the other hand, VPNTraffic has been working in the domain of online privacy since 2010. Therefore, we assume they would have added various value-added features like live chat, GDPR compliance, etc.

Yet, the brand is still a relevant choice for new netizens as you can get an idea about online privacy and its consequences. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
