Here are some recent reviews by VPN Monster users:
Most of the reviews are in Russian and they are particularly unhappy about the service.
Application ‘frequently crashes’ is a common complaint posted by users which leaves them exposed to the internet without any protection.
VPN Monster is headquartered in Seychelles, but is targeted to Russian users.
It is an offshore country that has no data retention laws, meaning their authorities won’t be snooping on your data.
If you’re looking to get a VPN provider with a safe haven, look for it in our guide 5/9/14 eyes countries.
Seychelles does not force any company to store data users’ data because this is the country with no data retention laws.
But despite this fact, some companies do store users’ data to sell it to third parties.
But this isn’t the case with VPN Monster.
We do not keep logs of activity of our users. We are outside the jurisdiction of the law.
They are not liable to share user data even if they are asked by other countries, which is why I could say this VPN is safe.
Have a look at the logging policy for all VPNs.
In this Monster VPN review, you will find that this is a freemium service.
Meaning, that it is both free and paid.
But the free service is only limited from 30 to 90 days. You will experience slow speed and a limited number of servers.
It only has a 7-days money-back guarantee which I believe is a little less than what industry leaders are offering.
These amounts are available in Russian Ruble.
So for 6 months plan ($3.03/month), 1-year plan ($1.92/month), and 1-month plan ($5.51).
The prices are low no doubt, which is extremely good for newbie who wants to try out their service.
The app is available in Russian language, which is a bit of a downside.
Here is how the app looks like:
Here is the look at the servers you need to connect:
It did not take me much time to connect with these servers, which was great to see.
VPN Monster offers a total of 114 servers and has availability in 38 countries.
Needless to say, it is extraordinary for a free service to offer such a large number of servers.
It doesn’t offer server in China that also has strict online restrictions as Russia.
VPNs that offer obfuscated servers are the ones that can bypass restrictions in countries having strict online guidelines.
It uses 256-bit AES military-government encryption algorithm.
This is the strongest encryption you will ever find in a VPN that will keep your online activity safe when it goes through a tunnel.
It also offers a double VPN encryption that allows you to connect to two different servers before you get connected to your destination server.
Double VPN encryption was an interesting factor in this review VPN Monster.
VPN Monster is the best multi device VPN as it allows you to secure your numerous devices at a time.
The VPN is available for Windows, Android, MacOS, and iOS only as I have learnt in this VPN Monster Pro review.
You will have to setup iOS app manually since it doesn’t have it available on iTunes which is a bit of a downside.
You won’t be able to download on your Linux, Routers, and other operating system and device.
You can connect up to 6 devices at a time with a single VPN Monster account which is more than enough.
No, VPN Monster does not provide any kind of Transparency Report.
This report shows if the VPN provider has been contacted by the authorities to reveal users data.
We cannot be sure how many times have authorities been in contact with Monster VPN, but that is how it goes.
Have a look at most Transparent VPNs in our guide.
It did NOT unblock American library from outside of America which is a bit of concern.
Unfortunately, it was unable to unblock iPlayer as well, which is not a pleasant scene at all.
But, I was able to unblock Live TV channels on Kodi streaming player.
I connected VPN Monster on my system and ran Kodi on the background.
I quickly examined a change in my IP under Kodi player and I was able to watch Live TV channels present in the US.
I can show you some other best VPN Kodi that unblocks geo-restrictions.
There’s NO live chat support, email support, or even ticketing system.
Instead, it only has a troubleshooting section which is not much either.
If any customer tend to look towards asking questions regarding customer support, then they would face nothing but disappointment.
If you’re not liking any of the features offered by VPN Monster, then I would recommend you using the following service providers:

- Review of Avast VPN

Second, it offers a double VPN encryption, has the strongest encryption, and is available for free.
You can try out its free version. If you simply like the service, you can then buy it in your convenience.
