FIFA World Cup Qualifying Teams
Teams from all over the world, from six different continents are participating in the FIFA U-20 World Cup. Four teams each have qualified from the Asian, African, European, Caribbean & North American and South American region whereas only one has qualified from the Oceania, while New Zealand has made a direct entry into the main stage because it is the host country.
The qualified teams from the Asian region are Myanmar, North Korea, Qatar and Uzbekistan. From the African region Ghana, Mali, Nigeria and Senegal have emerged as the FIFA under 20 World Cup 2015 qualifying teams. Honduras, Mexico, America and Panama have qualified from the Caribbean, North & Central American region.
Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Uruguay have come out as the qualifiers from the South American region, whereas only Fiji has made an entry alongside New Zealand from the Oceania. Austria, Germany, Hungary, Portugal, Serbia and Ukraine have qualified from the European regions.
FIFA U-20 World Cup Schedule
The matches of the first stage will be played from 30th of May till 07th of June, after which the second stage will start with the Round of 16 from 10th of June till the 11th of June. The quarter finals will be played on 14th of June, with the semi-finals to be scheduled on the 17th of June. The play-off for third place and the final are scheduled to be played on 20th June, 2015.
With the FIFA U-20 World Cup starting in a week, the excitement is already all-time high.
