It offers 80+ international payment methods which are something to complement, but again it doesn’t work with Netflix in UK and not to mention it has a Riskware virus in its Windows client. It has no live chat support or refund policy. It just makes matter worse for users.

FinchVPN has decent customer support, but still, there is a lack of a live chat feature.

It currently has Email support, Ticket-based support, a Discussion group, and a Facebook page.

The email support is available 24/7 and the response time is 2-3 hours on average.

Compatibility – Apps and supported devices

FinchVPN has apps available for Windows, Android, macOS, iOS, and Ubuntu which are the major operating systems. With a single FinchVPN account, you can connect with only 1 device at a time.

It lacks dedicated apps for iOS and Mac OS, which is certainly a disappointment.

FinchVPN for Windows in UK

The Windows client of FinchVPN in UK is not as glossy as the apps of some other VPN providers. Instead, it is a throwback to the early days when VPN apps were more text-filled and less pleasing to the eyes.

Nevertheless, this app allows you to choose between different tunneling protocols. Now, as someone who likes tweaking around with the software, I found this feature rather exciting.

In addition, it also comes with an option to check the server status. This way, users can observe which server is operational at the time.

With all this, the app has an Anti-DPI feature that protects your connection from Deep Packet Inspection, making you untraceable on the web.

If you are wondering, how to use FinchVPN on a PC, then this really shouldn’t be a problem as the Windows app is simple to use. You just have to choose the protocol, port, and server, and press “connect”. You can leave the protocol and port settings to default if you have no clue what these settings are.

There are, however, some issues with the client. Sometimes it fails to connect and the interface freezes for frustrating lengths of time. Also, the app has no kill switch feature to prevent an IP leak in case the connections drop for any reason.

Despite all this, I enjoyed using the software, but these are errors that definitely need to be addressed by the company.
