  • Connect to any Server


  • It will ask you to touch ID

Step 3: Enter Description, Server Address, Account, Password etc. as mentioned below


Description: Give any name to your VPN

Server: Enter Server Address for your VPN (e.g. NordVPN US server address)

Account: Type Username. If you do not have one, then subscribe to NordVPN

RSA SecurID: Make sure it is turned off

Password: Enter your Password

Secret: Enter 12345678

Send All Traffic: Enable this option

Step 4: Click Done


Step 5: Now click on NordVPN


Step 6: Hit the VPN status tab at the top-right corner


That’s it, your VPN is now manually configured on your iOS device.

To enable or disable the newly configured VPN, simply head on over to Settings > VPN and use the toggle button accordingly.


How to Manually Setup NordVPN on iPhone (OpenVPN)

Use this installation guide to manually setup OpenVPN connection on your iPhone or iPad. We have taken an example of NordVPN.

  • Before you begin, you will need NordVPN credentials by subscribing to the service
  • Now go to App Store on your iPhone/iPad


  • Click on the Search icon > Type ‘Openvpn Connect’ in the search bar


  • Select the app > Press Get icon


  • Click Open


Note: Make sure you open this file on a Safari browser

  • Click on Open in “OpenVPN”
  • Enter Username and Password > Then click Add
  • If a message pops up and asking for permission to ‘add OpenVPN as VPN Configuration’, click Allow
  • Enable to connect to VPN
  • You are successfully connected!


How to Uninstall VPN Configuration

To uninstall the VPN, you just need to go follow the instructions below:

  • Go to Settings
  • VPN configuration page
  • Click on the VPN connection name g. NordVPN you had made
  • Click Delete tab

  • Go to Settings
  • Select VPN option
  • Either Enable or Disable the VPN
