ISIS Active on Social Media

ISIS has been quite aggressive lately especially when it comes to spreading the word. The group has been working rigorously to make an impression and thus using modern media to convey their message.

ISIS came into existence on April 2013. ISIS is an extremist group, allegedly working with Al-Qaeda in Iraq. Recently, different social media platforms especially the ones with higher user count were abused by ISIS – spreading the word about their ill intentions.

Campaign of Terror

It seems like ISIS has its own way of retaliation. In response to the global War on Terror, ISIS has its own Campaign of Terror. To culminate ISIS’ vigorous activities on social media, Iraqi government has decided to block different social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and G+.
