Hide.me VPN Review [Updated 2024]

Although Hide.me is a Malaysian-based VPN providing delivering its services through 2000 servers worldwide, it doesn’t make it to our list of best VPNs. However, this VPN does not unblock Netflix, unlike PureVPN or ExpressVPN provide the said feature to their users exclusively.  It is based in Malaysia and is bound to follow no data retention laws. Hide.Me is one of the free Facebook VPNs.

As per this Hide.me VPN Review, the service mainly hails from a user-friendly country and follows no-logging in the right way.

The provider belongs to a safe jurisdiction, which is Malaysia. It means the service will not have to follow mandatory data retention laws legally.

Above all, the country does not belong to any eyes alliance hence, it will not share its users’ data with other countries.

Security – Is this VPN secure enough?

According to our Hide.me VPN review, it does not record any of your information and online activities. Hide.me VPN has a transparent system in place and is based in Malaysia where data retention is banned by law.

As for WebRTC leaks, again, Hide.me showed no sign of leaks. Even after double-checking, it showed no signs of obvious WebRTC leaks.

I tested its Android app URL through VirusTotal and attained no virus at all.
