The use of advanced technologies such as audio and video deepfakes, coupled with the looming threat of quantum-driven cyberattacks, marks a new era of digital deception.
Recent incidents showcase the alarming trend: in Hong Kong, scammers impersonated executives using deepfakes to steal $25 million, while election disinformation campaigns in India and Indonesia sowed chaos through fabricated visuals.
